GeoSensorX is transforming the way software solution providers consume data for businesses that depend on physical operations. The GSX team builds and delivers solutions that change how the enterprise IoT and telematic solution providers consume data to develop actionable business insights for their customers.

GeoSensorX products include plug and play devices designed for delivering real-time connectivity and insights to software platforms and application solution providers (ASPs). The GSX product portfolio includes cellular connected gateways designed for capturing data from CAN-bus systems, GPS technology, plug and play, and wireless sensors, video streams from proprietary GSX machine-vision algorithms using AI and machine learning. Using the latest wireless technologies, this data is then made available through easy to consume APIs from the GeoSensorX cloud for easy integration into third party applications.

As Director of Partner Success, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Geosensorx’s services in a number of GSX’s strategic business partners and customers. You will be responsible for driving GSX’s service consumption and overall end partner adoption across all market segments through partner engagement activities. The ideal candidate has a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. You will also be responsible for building your team processes to prepare for growth.

Your broad responsibilities will include establishing business and technical relationships, and managing and supporting partner end-user interactions with these organizations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.

You will be expected to: 

  • Responsible for overall health, growth and retention of assigned account portfolio 
  • Mentor more junior team members on relationship management best practices, process development and consultative skills 
  • Collaborate with Account Management, R&D, Product, and Marketing teams in order to manage and grow relationships with partners 
  • Develop and deploy strategies, action plans and playbooks to improve product adoption and customer retention outcomes 
  • Obsess over customer experience and know how to advocate for customer needs with cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to process improvements, coaching/training development, and adopt a value driven approach to partner success 
  • Expand and leverage key relationships to identify opportunities for up-selling and expansion of GSX’s platform and services 
  • Proactively lead account planning to align partner KPIs, expansion opportunities, relationship mapping, and effective action plans to best service the partner’s needs 
  • Conduct business reviews and establish relationship cadence to ensure partner satisfaction, adoption, and growth 
  • Become a subject matter expert in GSX’s product suite and services 
  • Stay ahead of related industry trends, platforms and digital tools 

Qualifications:

  • The right person will possess 5+ years of experience in sales or business development in the software/technology industry 
  • Able to consistently exceed quota and key performance metrics. 
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and strong familiarity with decision making processes in partners 
  • Experience working with partners through account management, product management, program management and business development engagements 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations 
  • Demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, product management and account management teams 
  • Strong technical selling DNA with a desire to coordinate field teams to develop and close high-profile deals 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Consistently exceeds targets and key performance metrics 
  • Prior experience working with Systems Integrators and Consulting Companies to achieve sales goals 
  • Prior direct sales experience is preferred 
  • Experience working in the territory with partners and customers
