Responsibilities

The Assistant Vice President of Net Revenue will oversee the analysis, development and implementation of financial and administrative services for designated areas of hospital responsibility. 

• Direct hospital financial and regulatory reporting processes that include: 
• Financial statement preparation
• Audit coordination
• Membership billing
• Preparation and filing of reports with external agencies
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of hospital accounting systems:
• Including internal control systems and financial practices for reporting entities.
• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
• Lead the associates and hospital practices involved in the accounting processes.
• Relationship building, understanding all functions within Ascension healthcare. 
• Cost Analyst experience.
• AR Evaluation, knowledge of the Revenue Cycling Analytics (RCA) preferred. 
• Technical and leadership skills with healthcare management experience preferred. 
• Strong leadership skills required. 

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Accountant preferred. 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or Related field.

Experience:

• 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required in healthcare. 
• 5 years management experience. 
• 5 years reimbursement/AR valuation experience. 
• CPA or MBA preferred.
