Senior Finance Specialist - General Accounting

You will be working as Senior Finance Specialist - General Accounting at global grade 15 and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager and will be responsible to handle selected accounting activities relating period close accounting activities including balance sheet and manual journal entries. The role included control-related activities such as review and approve journals. Driving improvements within this process globally by working with R2R core team on policy changes.

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
• Performing reconciliations of accounts and details for any discrepancies
• Performing accounting related analysis and generating reports to support finance queries
• Performing month end book closing and reporting activities
• Assisting team leader during the audits
• Performing such other activities as required to meet the Stake Holders requirement

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of operational experience in General Accounting
• Expertise in end-to-end R2R process and involving in Intra-Group area
• Working knowledge in SAP
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings
