Position : Manager – Accounting

Function : Finance

Reporting to : Senior Manager / Service Delivery Leader

Shift Timings: 2 PM - 11 PM

Job Scope includes:

Process management, regular interaction with team and ensure successful delivery of operations and metrics globally. Deep accounting knowledge on Core Accounting including Inter Company and Fixed assets and liaise with corporate team, local finance & controllers frequently. Having working understanding of Process and Key Controls

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing of Global Pay and Benefits Accounting Process:
• Reviewing of Employee related liabilities accounting treatment
• Providing guidance to team on specific process/accounting queries.
• Holding discussions with various Regional Controllers/ Corporate Policy Teams, Strategic and Operational Leaders.
• Work with Internal/External auditors and ensure satisfactory audit planning and execution of the various aspects of Internal Controls activities within the team
• Driving Policy compliance through Governance Activities
• Educating team about relevant accounting applicable policies 
• Guiding the team towards adherence of policies through periodic reviews – such as Monthly reconciliations MJEV, SOD VIRSA etc.
• Preparation and reporting of process key metrics to senior stakeholders
• Act as owner and highlight accounting challenges proactively to relevant stakeholders and work towards solution.
• Team Engagement:
• Ensuring appropriate Trainings are imparted to the team as per the needs on a timely basis. Planning/Taking part in Team Engagement Activities.
• Strive for the team’s growth and development.

Qualifications & Attributes needed:

• Preferably, Chartered Accountant with overall 7-10 years of experience, of which minimum 3-5 years of Team management experience.
• Would have worked in the fields of Core Accounting, Controls and exposure to some Global processes.
• Versatility and capability to handle multiple tasks and challenges.
• Good analytical skill and communication skills.
• Comfortable to work in shifts.
