The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with category managers to design category operation strategies (e.g. fashion, beauty, etc.), including partners, products and content strategies that help businesses scale up
  • Analyze partners segments, optimizing short video and live streaming strategies according to partners features
  • Analyze product selection strategies, optimizing product selection according to user preferences and platform features;
  • Optimize business SOP of operation, problem diagnosis and solutions in the category; Build best practice and playbooks to help partners adopt verified strategies.
  • Hiring and coaching the best talent
  • Navigating through ambiguity, adapting to frequent changes and influencing key stakeholders
  • Decomposing complex problems, devising new approaches and creating scalable solutions
  • Overall market research and competitor analysis

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Extensive experience in commerce business strategy and operation, or in consulting and operation management
  • Good understanding of EU commerce, preferably in the fashion and beauty industries.
  • Knowledge about business models of content platforms is preferred (TikTok, Youtube, IG, etc.)

Preferred requirements:

  • Excellent logical analysis ability and data-sensitive; strong user perspectives, and willing to use internet products to improve the operational efficiency of the business;
  • Fluent in English and preferably another EU language; cross cultural communication and collaboration skills, working cross functionally in a global working environment.
