What you'll do...

Walmart Financial Services powers money movement across the retail ecosystem. We are looking for a senior level product manager to lead the Fintech Commerce portfolio in building simple digital banking solutions through ONE. 

As a Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for building the roadmap for digital and in-store experiences to grow our ONE digital banking products to help customers take advantage of digital banking, lending, contactless payments & cash back. This product line empowers our customers to save, spend and grow your money – all in one place while driving significant margins for the enterprise.   

The Product manager will work closely with business, design, and tech teams to champion product ideas from strategy and planning to execution. This position is highly visible with ample opportunity to work with senior leaders across Walmart to develop, deploy, and optimize for short and long-term goals alike.   

The right candidate for this role brings a combination of strategic thinking and adaptive execution daily. Your ability to clearly articulate a plan and align cross-functional partners will be critical in achieving success.   

What You’ll Do  

  • Own, develop, and execute the ONE Financial Services product roadmap.  
  • Identify opportunities for growth, revenue, cost efficiencies, and customer acquisition.   
  • Own writing requirements, acceptance criteria, and drawing UML diagrams for all the products you ship.  
  • Understand the impact of each new feature and be able to articulate the value relative to customer experience vs opportunity cost.  
  • Prioritize and plan the backlog to align the work for future sprints.  
  • Work with a cross-functional group of people that includes Business, Design, Copy, Data & Analytics, and Engineering  
  • Work with external stakeholders to develop leading-edge technology solutions for ONE banking integration and Walmart platform teams. 
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. 
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum 8 plus years of relevant experience in Banking, Lending and eCommerce consumer facing apps and products. 
  • Experience with interpreting data and making business recommendations.   
  • Has previously defined and owned a roadmap with an ability to analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs.   
  • Experience in a consumer product space that has reached 7-figure active users or used to a high growth consumer product.   
  • Is exceptionally detailed-oriented and can present findings in a well-articulated manner.  
  • Has strong written / verbal communication and presentation skills.  
  • Has a desire to collaborate on new processes for efficiency  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and still hit core responsibilities and key deadlines.  
  • Know how to collaborate and tactically work with senior leaders that are stakeholders on your projects.  
  • Ability to quickly build consensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders. 

Bonus   

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master  
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative user testing  
  • Product Marketing or Product Growth experience

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
  • Stock equity incentives
