As a Financial Institutional Group Sales Vice President, you will manage a portfolio covering financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions and FinTech in Taiwan and Taiwan headquarters financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions in other markets mainly Greater China and ASEAN. You will be responsible for promoting full suites of Payments products including global clearing, cash management, foreign exchange, liquidity management, and trade solutions for existing and prospective clients. The role requires a strong sales skillset, team player mentality and good understanding of compliance and governance. The core responsibilities of the position include pipeline management to achieve business objectives through effective account planning, strong relationship management and implementation of effective portfolio strategies. 

This position based in Taipei reports to Taiwan Payments FIG Sales Head and works collaboratively with local stakeholders and regional teams. The position requires the flexibility of frequent domestic and international travels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales of the entire Payments product suite/solution, including treasury services which covers global clearing, cash management, liquidity management and foreign exchange solutions, as well as trade solutions.
  • Achieve new business goals, including the self-annual sales plan at target margins by identifying prospects/opportunities and calling plans to engage partners/ senior managers of prospective clients.
  • In partnership with Coverage, Product, Client Services and Implementation teams to initiate the execution of the sales strategy, achieve business sales objectives, expand market share and increase the share of wallet and revenue with target clients.
  • Understand the unique challenges and requirements in the industry/client segments and partner with internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and delivery of complex products and solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify cash management and trade needs that align with JPMorgan's full suite of Payments products and global solution.
  • Drive the development of forward-looking business plans and effective call strategies for clients along with Payments’ FIG sales and Bankers globally. Drive a client centric coverage model, coordinating with Payments product partners and Bankers. 
  • Drive client mindshare and thought leadership around Payments Solutions and the forward innovation agenda through strategic marketing and client events. Participate and contribute to end-to-end product and service reviews to ensure constant improvement in our solution offerings.
  • Work as a team and provide leadership to organize and coordinate client events as to promote and strengthen J.P. Morgan’s franchise.
  • Handle AML/Sanction related inquiry (RFIs) at both transactional or relationship levels; work with client and internal teams to smoothen the compliance investigations and screening.
  • Manage/meet the required regulatory deliverables for KYC including new business, remediation and renewal. Objectively represent client issues in front of AML committee reviews as needed.
  • Ensure compliance accurate and timely renewals and completion of KYCs and other internal reporting /approval requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Extensive experience in a similar role within Taiwan financial services.
  • Knowledge of transaction banking and sales is a must.
  • Successful track record of driving new business development and senior relationship management.
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and commitment, as well as a strong business sense with a strategic, conceptual orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master or MBA degree is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Flexibility for regular travel.
