Purpose of the role

The Contract & Procurement Manager Carbon Logistics & Storage (f/m/d) oversees procurement activities in alignment with EEP’s and E.ON’s policies. This role leads sourcing strategy, supplier assessment, tendering, and purchasing, serving as the primary expert for CP. Responsibilities include developing and standardizing CP processes and systems, establishing a secure and reliable supplier portfolio, creating sustainable framework contracts with strategic partners, and building collaborative partnerships with suppliers while supporting regular contract performance reviews.

Your responsibilities

  • As Contract & Procurement Manager Carbon Logistics & Storage (f/m/d) you develop and oversee the Carbon Logistics & Storage Sourcing Strategy
  • You create and manage a portfolio of framework contracts for Carbon Logistics & Storage
  • You liaise with project and logistics staff to ensure any requirements for procurement support are identified, approved, and procured in a timely, well-documented, and cost-efficient manner
  • You establish and update a supplier database, arranging preferred supplier agreements for types of supplies as well as services that will be demanded on a regular basis
  • You negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers
  • You monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • You mitigate commercial risks and resolve any contractual disputes that may arise

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred
  • Proven experience in logistics contract management and procurement, preferably within the energy sector
  • Familiarity with Carbon Capture Storage projects and associated logistics requirements is desirable
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines
  • Excellent command of English language is compulsory
