The Role

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Kyndryl is looking for talented and proactive partner-based engagement marketing specialists in the global partner marketing team. This high-profile role is a global role and is suitable for a strategic senior marketer with pursuit-based partner marketing experience. This role will be part of a team, tasked with the mission of developing a scalable marketing program in support of Kyndryl’s strategic alliance partners. The individual will be aligned to few strategic alliance partners of Kyndryl and will work closely with Kyndryl’s business leadership to develop a joint value proposition and marketing strategy for these alliance partners to drive business growth. The individual needs to develop deep understanding on the alliance partner dynamics, their competence and expertise level as well as key Kyndryl services offerings etc. The incumbent should be passionate, curious, have a growth mind set, love engaging with a wide range of stakeholders within Kyndryl and outside Kyndryl, creative and willing to take risks, bring innovation and be transformative.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in:

Strategy & Planning

  • Understand market dynamics and competitive landscape
  • Understand partners and ecosystem priorities and capabilities.
  • Develop joint marketing strategy and execution plan with the operating markets.
  • Understanding of the evolving partner ecosystems: 
  • Hyperscalers, technology alliances, ISVs, as-a-service, sell-to, sell through, industry ecosystems etc.
  • Value propositions / how each model makes money / how they go to market.

Reputation, Relationship and Signing Growth

  • Design and execute targeted marketing tactics to drive Kyndryl brand reputation, relationship with target accounts and support signing growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing automation and campaign team to tailor scalable programs and tactics.
  • Collaborate with Geo marketing understanding local market priorities and alliances alignment.
  • Data Driven credentials and strong understanding of performance marketing.
  • Pipeline & marketing metrics, program KPIs, root cause analysis.

Who You Are

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • 8+ years' relevant marketing experience in technology company or in a IT services / Global System Integrators, working on strategic partners go-to-market.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, Technology, or related field (MBA Preferred)
  • Experience or good understanding of the product marketing in the IT service industry.
  • Regularly review and adjust strategy and plan based on shifts in technology and market trends.
  • Create alliance marketing plans and coordinate across marketing, communication and sales enablement disciplines to accelerate Kyndryl results.
  • Proven history of working independently and with cross-functional sales, marketing, communications, and product management teams to achieve alliance objectives.
  • Participate quarterly business roadmap sessions with partners, aligning on strategies for mutual growth.
  • Good interpersonal, executive communication, peer-to-peer collaboration, writing and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and negotiation skills and display good business acumen.
  • Good relationship building skills with the ability to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good team players and maintain the integrity and display good attention to detail.
  • Great presentation, verbal, and writing skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively across a wide range of audience levels and functions.

Preferred Technical & Professional Expertise:

Masters Degree in marketing, technology or related field (MBA preferred)
