Role Summary and Job Responsibility:

As a key member of the team of the Korean Customer Application Support team for the Security solutions, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the direct interface with customer engineering and technical teams to assist the sales representatives in promoting differentiated NXP Security solutions by providing technology overviews, supporting architecture, and system-level discussions.
  • Support customer projects from the design-in phase to production through appropriate training, requirement review, configuration, and support of NXP products.
  • Collaborate and consult with internal technical support and engineering to resolve customer issues.
  • Leverage customer meetings to gather intelligence about the customer's end product plans and relevant requirements, and communicate intelligence to the product groups to participate in new product definition.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and contribute to collateral that differentiates NXP products and system solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of technical collateral for our customers. Participate in technical conferences.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required. 

Job Qualification:

  • Master’s / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control, or Computer Engineering, advanced degree preferred 
  • 2+ years’ experience with Semiconductor Products in a position such as product applications or systems engineer, field applications engineer, or other technical positions with good practical knowledge of applications and technologies
  • Preferred experience and skills : Java Card OS, Secure element(SE/ eSE), Cryptographic, and MCU
  • Good understanding of mobile and automotive customer’s business challenges 
  • Fluent in local and proficient English skills. 
  • Strong communication skills are needed 
  • A collaborative, team player with the ability to develop strong and effective working relationships across the company 
  • Excellent customer facing, presentation, and communication skills 
  • Critical thinking skills and proficiency in risk and issue management 
  • Demonstrates a willingness to continuously learn and improve 
  • Capable of motivating and influencing others, sustaining high energy and a positive attitude even in the face of challenges and adversity 
  • Ability to challenge decisions and approach issues with creative solutions 
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally
