US Basel IV Regulatory Capital Reporting Assistant Vice President

As a Barclays US Basel IV Regulatory Capital Reporting Assistant Vice President (AVP), you will be working in the Regulatory Capital Team and will be tasked with the development and on-going circulation and reporting of both point in time and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Projected risk weighted assets (RWAs), capital leverage, and Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) Large Exposures for Barclays IHC (Intermediate Holding Company) to internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting the IHC Capital Reporting under current regulatory commitments including quarterly reporting and internal capital management
  • Engaging in the build out of Basel IV Regulatory Capital program across calculator and reporting workstreams including requirements, and testing
  • Engaging on interpretations and analysis partnering with Technology, Policy, the business, and other key stakeholders 
  • Developing skill set to be a Subject Matter Expert on Basel calculations and reporting for the IHC including rule and product knowledge
  • Maintaining and developing robust internal controls governing Regulatory Capital including policies and procedures, change control, and comprehensive documentation
  • Working with individual business lines and other stakeholders on Regulatory Capital Management Information 
  • Partnering on key initiatives on behalf of IHC Capital team in on both Basel IV and other initiatives like control testing, data governance, upstream data testing, etc

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Expertise in US Bank regulatory/risk reporting
  • Extensive experience with Federal Reserve Bank Basel III regulatory Capital requirements, preferably at a Large FBO
  • Prior experience in managing governance and controls framework and familiarity with Basel III Endgame ideal

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • CPA and CFA certifications and MBA education beneficial
  • Advanced level of understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of RWA and Regulatory Capital stress testing requirements for CCAR reporting
  • Understanding of products: Derivatives, Secured Financing Transactions, and General Credit Products
