The Catalyst Team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our full-time team as full-time employee.

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  •  Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  •  Experience with other DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Helm, Terraform and Vault.
  •  Strong expertise in GitLab for source code management, CI/CD, and version control.
  •  Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization patterns.
  •  Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  •  Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  •  Certification in Kubernetes (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA).
  •  Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  •  Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  •  Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Shell, Python, or Ruby.
  •  Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
  •  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change quickly.
  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities:

  •  CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. Implement automation for build, test, and deployment processes to streamline software delivery.
  •  Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently. Implement best practices for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
  •  Container Orchestration: Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Design and implement Kubernetes clusters to support production workloads.
  •  Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions for infrastructure and applications using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar technologies. Set up alerts and dashboards to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
  •  Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  •  Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to drive DevOps initiatives and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Maintain clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
  •  Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for production systems and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance. Participate in incident response and resolution activities as needed.
