Position Details| Wesleyan’s Information Technology Services (ITS) is agile, energetic, and collaborative with dedicated support for professional development and staff creativity. Enterprise Systems manages all the enterprise platforms for the University.
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Systems, the Assistant IT Director for Advancement Systems is a leader in ITS and Enterprise Systems. The ITS Advancement systems team supports the University’s Advancement Office, which has recently launched the public phase of a $600 million comprehensive fundraising campaign.
Position description:
This position is a hybrid position with on-campus and remote work schedules.
Remote work is only considered for residents of MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, or NY. (Relocation assistance to CT is available for those who qualify).
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible work experience in Enterprise Systems (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Demonstrated experience in Salesforce configuration, implementation, and integration of platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams, including project teams.
Demonstrated ability to provide superior client service to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated skill in analyzing, understanding, and focusing on the most important aspects of business requirements.
Knowledge of Salesforce development and administration.
Experience in modern Integration Techniques including APIs.
Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to grasp and use new concepts and tools.
Understanding functional business needs and translating them into technical solutions.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues.
Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact professionally with individuals of different backgrounds.
