As a key member of the Commercial Operations Excellence Leadership Team, the Global Director for Direct Market will be responsible for maximizing the value of the initiatives developed by the Global Commercial Operations Excellence (GCOE) when executed locally.

Working hand in hand with all Commercial functions and geographies to ensure the optimal deployment of these Commercial Excellence best in class practices. Implement the Global Commercial Operations Excellence strategy to ensure bioMérieux meets its Commercial ambitions for Clinical (Full Potential) & Industrial Applications (InPulse) units.

We are looking for our Global Commercial Operations Excellence Director For Direct Market M/F/NB

What will be your responsibilities ?

  • Drive the execution of the yearly priorities and the adoption of the new Commercial model with the regions thanks to a close collaboration with the GCOE point of contact in the regions & countries for Clinical & Industry businesses. Be accountable for the implementation and adoption of these best in class practices.
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end Commercial process along the customer journey for direct market: from account management to Skill enhancements and Commercial enablers.
  • Partner with the regions to identify and gather the needs to Boost and reinvent our Commercial Model as defined in Full Potential and InPulse.
  • Collaborate with local commercial teams to bring to live the GCOE initiatives and work with the operational teams to increase customer centricity by fostering the adoption of account management. 
  • Support country leaders in Commercial transformation projects, make recommendations on priorities and resources if necessary.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the GCOE projects implementation when related to the direct markets (e.g. Value Based Training, Sales Methodologies, Customer Relationship Management program, Customer Value Management method, Price increase, Online solutions …).
  • Ensure a close collaboration with other team members of the GCOE group to integrate all the best practices created into a seamless commercial journey for the operations.

Who are you?

  • Master degree with minimum 10 years in sales, marketing, business management or related fields
  • 8-12 years of experience running cross-cultural department with a track record of achievements in sales, marketing or business management.
  • Successful Global assignment and Local role within a commercial entity. 
  • Successful large scale project management experience and exposure to international complex initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate in an autonomous, international and multi-cultural environment /cross-functional experience.
  • Strong influencing skills, capacity to drive a multidisciplinary exercise without direct hierarchical reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in large program management.
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge and understanding (sales, finance, marketing, supply chain, legal,…)
  • Knowledge of internal company process and strong interpersonal network.
  • Readiness and willingness to travel to support a global initiative.
