Software System Design Engineer / Cloud Software Engineer
THE ROLE:
We are seeking an exceptional Kubernetes (K8S) Developer with specialized expertise in scheduler performance optimization. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Kubelet to fully leverage chip-let architecture for containerized workloads. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the manageability and scalability of workloads deployed on K8S heterogenous and homogenous HW clusters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and validate K8S features that are aware of EPYC chip-let architecture for optimal resource allocation. This will involve strong collaborate with core Cloud Native, Hardware, and Performance team members to understand behavior of various cloud native workloads on AMD EPYC processors.
Conduct performance analysis, identify the bottlenecks, and optimize platform resources for various Quality of Service pod profiles. Fine-tune settings to align for optimal pod scheduling.
Design, develop, and validate K8S features that are aware of platform features such as AMD SME/SEV/SNP/SEV-TIO, ISA, and Accelerators.
