Job Description:

What will you work on?

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of global toys and games portfolios, and ideally possesses a technical, manufacturing, strategy, and/or process-mapping background. The person in this role will work closely with large cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Packaging, etc.) to manage product development from concept through production.

How will you create impact?

  • Establish project plans in collaboration with cross-functional development teams to determine tasks, milestones, resources, planned and actual dates
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and global partners, communicating brand and/or project information, and executing to take product from concept to production
  • Manage programs to time, cost, and quality reflective of business and development objectives
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Identify, anticipate, and manage risks or issues at the project level
  • Partner with global operations to provide early warning of delays, and strategize appropriate solutions in development plans or processes to deliver on demand forecast revisions
  • Support and drive cross-functional category teams to manage projects including risks, key handoffs, and deliverables
  • Monitor resource utilization within the program and recommend adjustments to resource allocation as needed
  • Report and escalate to management as needed; present verbal and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management
  • Continuously improve project management toolkits, processes, and methodologies utilized for product development

What are your skills and experience?

  • Experience in project management role
  • Experience with plastics, materials, manufacturing, and/or engineering costs for durable goods 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification a plus
  • Skills in MS Project, Agile, and/or other relevant tools to manage end-to-end development
  • Experience in creating new processes to integrate new and existing technologies, spanning a multitude of digital mediums and touch points, into conventional CPG development
  • Advanced proficiency in creating presentation materials for executive review

Position requires on-site presence one day a week

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $75,000 to $95,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
