Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer, a key member to our Salesforce Solutions practice, to deliver top notch implementation, customization, configuration and training services to CGI’s Salesforce customer base. In this role, you will collaborate with our customers to provide them a competitive advantage and business value through Cloud technology.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you are expected to:

• Work closely with business analysts, testers, other developers and other stakeholders
• Directly interact with business users or customer facing team members in requirements gathering, analyzing and reviewing business functional and technical requirements
• Develop Salesforce applications
• Perform hands-on technical implementation with a focus on configuration or customization
• Observe best practice for Salesforce development
• Ensure that all developed features have undergone testing and verified against development standards
• Commit to delivering high quality and on time output
• Be able to work on multiple applications/projects
• Support applications during stabilization period
• Able to train junior teammates
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong experience in Salesforce/ Force.com application development as a certified administrator and developer
• Proficient in Salesforce architecture, Apex, workflow design, controllers, triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force, Appexchange, Custom objects and Community Cloud
• 5+ years of experience in Web Services based development and use of Salesforce API
• Should have knowledge of web technologies like Javascript, HTML/CSS and XML
• Should be proficient in building custom code as well as debugging/troubleshooting issues with them
• Should have experience of Marketing Cloud and its integration with Salesforce via data extensions
• Experience in Salesforce Communities

Required Skills:

• Strong Experience in Salesforce/force.com app development along with certification
• Salesforce Administrator Certified
• Working experience in Salesforce architecture, Apex, controllers, workflow design, triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force, Appexchange, Custom objects and Community Cloud, Lightning Web Components
• Strong working experience in Mulesoft
• Strong experience Web Services based development and use of Salesforce API
• Knowledgeable in web technologies like Javascript, HTML/CSS and XML
• Should be able to build on custom code and s debugging/troubleshooting issues with them
• Should have experience of Marketing Cloud and its integration with Salesforce via data extensions
• Experience in Salesforce Communities
• Agile methodology
• Effective English communication and confident in direct interaction with onshore
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
