Director, Platform Engineering
Slalom_build is looking for a Director to join our team in the Platform Engineering (PE) capability. Our PE engineers build secure automation environments that enable our application and data engineers to unveil their products to the world. Our goal is to create a platform to make a product smart, secure, and fast, while minimizing toil.
You will be leading all aspects of a PE team located in Auckland, New Zealand. Success in this role requires a variety of skills such as: building and leading teams in your location, establishing relationships within Slalom and client leaders, deep expertise, passion, and curiosity across Clouds, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security trends and technologies and being a key team member in initiatives.
What will you do?
As a Director in Platform Engineering, you will be a steward of the capability and be responsible for development of services and capacity to deliver. You will develop strong relationships within local markets to drive capability-specific opportunities and manage teams to ensure quality outcomes. You will be an expert at delivery and fill roles ranging from dedicated Senior architect to SME roles to engagement leadership and delivery excellence.
