Product Designer - fresh graduate

We're looking for an individual who is currently enrolled in, or has recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from an undergraduate or postgraduate university degree program in Product Design, UX Design, Interaction Design or a related field. Work experience is a plus but not a must.

  • Thrives on collaborating with teams and individuals worldwide.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills. Office and company language is English.

In this role you will:

  • Be paired with and mentored by one of our Senior Product Designers who, together with your line manager and other design leaders will be supporting and guiding you towards becoming an exceptional Product Designer.
  • Be part of a team working on solving exciting design challenges in a cloud-based enterprise software.
  • Work with our established and awarded Redwood Design System, whilst contributing towards its continuous evolution. 
  • Receive support and work with a wide range of disciplines and subject matter experts such as researchers, content designers, visual designers, product managers, software engineers and others. 
  • Learn to present compelling design solutions and effectively communicate your design process and decisions.
  • Maintain an engaging, positive and productive collaborative environment when interacting with other designers, engineers, product managers and others.
  • Take into account and understand user needs, business requirements and technical constraints - and work towards striking the best balance between these. 
  • Always apply critical thinking and aim to deeply understand the challenges and problems you are designing for.
  • Continuously strive to learn and better you skillset and design craft.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in software design, industry standards, changes, and trends in UX/Product Design.
  • Become confident in advocating for user-centred design across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Work towards becoming one of our best Product Designers, building your confidence, expertise and skillset as you progress through your career with us.
