Business Generation Representative (German & English languages)

Oracle Business Generation Representatives (BGRs) generate pipeline through targeted marketing events for the Oracle Global Industry Units (GIU). The pipeline is generated through pre and post event outreach via multi-channel touchpoints including phone, email, and social outreach. BGRs will work through generating awareness across various GIU offering via various social platforms. As a BGR, you will act as the first contact for many prospects who are starting sales cycles for industry specific solutions. A BGR qualifies prospects and produces quality leads & opportunities for the GIU Field Sales Team.

What you will do:

  • Align closely with marketing team to drive awareness, engagement & attendance across various events within our GIU’s.
  • Strategize and collaborate with field sales and marketing program stakeholders in ways to maximize territory coverage and revenue.
  • Generate GIU solution awareness initiatives using various social platforms.
  • Engage prospects through variety of outreach channels with focus on decision makers at the Director, VP and C level positions.
  • Build a knowledge of the Oracle ecosphere and GIU solutions and become a trusted advisor to prospects.
  • Uncover & qualify prospective customer needs by understanding business challenges and engaging with key decision-making personas.
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity & collaboration through ad-hoc projects for various departments.
  • Display teamwork by sharing best practices, collaborating with, and working with colleagues from other similar demand generation teams.

About you:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Instead of a Bachelor’s Degree, you have at least 5 years of experience working in a telephony-based customer-facing/customer advocacy role.
  • You have 2+ years of sales, business development or sales-related experience. Software and technology experience is not required— a high preference for candidates with some prospecting experience.
  • You are goal-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are known for your tremendous work ethic, passion, and dedication.
  • You are an achiever with a track record of strong results.
  • You enjoy learning new things including technology and can translate that into value for prospects.
  • You are curious, insightful, and perceptive.
  • English and German language skills at a business level. are a must for this role.

As a Telesales Business Development Representative you will act as the first contact for many prospects in Oracle business with outbound telemarketing calls. Qualifies Oracle prospects and produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Force. Performs database and record keeping activities.
