Analytics team is owning all analytics in the powerful NetSuite product

We are building all embedded analytics for our customers from visualizations in dashboards, through embedded analytics to reports and various tools to build customer insights. Additionally we also enable our customers to use tools like TypeScript, SQL, ODBC, JDBC, REST APIs and other to retrieve and process data. We cooperate with AI and data science team to leverage AI and Machine Learning for analytics. We also closely cooperate with various domain teams and enabling them to build analytics for e-commerce, accounting, sales, HR and many other business functions. We are all curious and love to learn about various parts of the business in order to build right analytical tools for them.

Most of the team is located in Brno, Czechia. However we also have colleagues in Barcelona, Malaga, Austin, San Francisco and other parts of the world.

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of the current and target customer needs through quantitative and qualitative research
  • Researching market dynamics to understand direct/indirect competitor efforts, analysts, regulators and all trends with purpose to provide strategic direction for the Analytics
  • Passionately represent the voice of the customers
  • Participation in developing the overall product strategy and roadmap. Create, execute and communicate the roadmap to achieve the goals and strategy for Analytics

Tactical

  • Manage the product management backlog (collect ideas, categorize, research and prioritize)
  • Conceive, document and drive the creation of new features in engineering backlog. Create user stories, and detailed product requirements that clearly articulate desired product functionality to internal stakeholders, so they are able to successfully deliver features addressing customer problems
  • Coordinate, provide guidance and collaborate with Development, QA, Doc, and UI to deliver great products
  • Evangelise analytics, analytics best practices, data literacy among internal product teams
  • Act as a point of contact for all stakeholders and coordinate their activities to ensure successful release delivery
  • Participate in customer facing events and partner conferences as a product expert

Experience

  • Understands databases and BI technologies and trends.
  • Familiarity with ERP and cloud solutions is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with B2B commerce and SMB market is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of Product management, and both strategic and tactical activities

Skills

  • Computer science background
  • Customer orientation with passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user experience
  • Familiarity with design thinking and understands necessity of great user experience.
  • Business savviness
  • Great communicator with ability to adjust style to different audiences (engineers, sales, executives..)
