You would be part of the Engineering Excellence Centre (EEC) organization; a global group in charge of executing projects within Schneider Electric. Within EEC, you would be exposed to Schneider Electric's state-of-the-art solutions and platforms, and you would get a chance to participate in projects from all over the globe with a special focus on sustainability, efficiency, and digitization.
Software Quality Controller – Magic happens when you bring great people together!
We are looking to hire an experienced Software Quality Controller to head up our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new software systems. You may also be required to update existing software and conduct feasibility studies on company systems.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with Development Managers to discuss software projects.
- follow test plans on software applications (Web, Desktop and Mobile Applications).
- Design, Develop and execute test cases on software applications (Web, Desktop and Mobile Applications).
- Perform static testing and review business requirements to ensure that testing captures the software or system’s functional requirements.
- Assess current testing needs and schedules and determine staffing needs to effectively conduct the testing.
- Identify and report bugs and issues.
- Execute manual and automated tests functional and non-functional testing for Web, REST API Desktop applications, and Mobile applications.
- Following the processes and procedures that they developed and testing new and updated systems for bugs and other issues.
- Support compatibility testing, develop and utilize software to capture performance data, and evaluate individual aspects of the software or system including user interfaces and functional requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to the software or system.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 1+ years of Software testing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
- Good Ability to record problems and/or issues on the defect tracking tools and track them till completion through appropriate ticketing systems and/or issue tracking tools.
- Ability to perform (testing coverage and completion) for a product including system, integration and functional testing based on product requirements.
- Manual testing in an Agile environment and waterfall
- Knowledge of DevOps & Jira
- Designing and developing automation scripts is a plus.
- Being Good at Selenium is a plus.
- ISTQB-FL Certified is plus.
