About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the founding members of the Business Development team in India. You will prospect and qualify leads and directly contribute to the revenue targets at Airbase. As a founding site team member, this is a great opportunity to contribute to your direct function and will likely involve additional projects over time as well. 

This role is required to be on-site in the Bangalore office. Transportation, snacks, and meals will be provided. Working hours are 6 pm IST - 3 am IST (Note: During Daylight Savings hours shift to 5 pm IST - 2 am IST). 

What You'll Do:

  • Promote and market Airbase through extensive communication with prospects. This includes but is not limited to cold calling and emailing. 
  • Research and evaluate additional leads/prospects through web and CRM research.
  • Meet (and exceed) the assigned quota daily.
  • Schedule the qualified demos that result in detailed information to the Account Executive team.
  • Maintain all contacts/opportunities and record all progress in Salesforce.
  • Run targeted outbound campaigns to generate new leads across different sectors, functions, and geographies.
  • Identify qualified prospects and navigate company structures to identify decision-makers.

About You:

  • 1-2+ years of outbound Business Development experience in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of working in a metrics-driven environment. 
  • Ability to break down a prospect's requirements and effectively communicate them internally to other teams.
  • Are an expert at using lead generation tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects.
  • Ability to think creatively. You are someone who can always find ways to keep the sales funnel active with new prospects. 
  • Have a positive attitude and can handle and deal with rejection well.
