Context :
The function falls under the responsibility of AXA XL France's Middle Office (MO) Department. The main objective of the position is to manage operational activities for the Liability, Financial Lines, and Environmental branches in France and internationally. To achieve this, the department, consisting of 37 employees organized into 2 teams in France, along with 10 dedicated individuals in Poland and India, must ensure the delivery of high-quality service. This involves direct interaction with Underwriting teams, as well as regular communication with brokers, clients, AXA XL entities worldwide, sister entities within the AXA Group, local partners in the international network, captives, and co-insurers.
Given AXA XL operates under a global operational model, it is also essential to contribute to its effective functioning and transformation by participating in governance activities, including coordination with other Middle Office teams worldwide, Global Programs teams, reinsurance teams, and IT teams. As the third-largest country within AXA XL, France's contribution is pivotal.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
o Participating in the implementation of complex programs in collaboration with underwriters and brokers,
o Ensuring the proper implementation of local policies abroad for international programs underwritten in France, in collaboration with Global Programs teams, other AXA XL entities, and offshore shared services,
o Managing reinsurance placements, particularly facultative reinsurance to captives and co-insurers within international programs,
o Ensuring a high level of service for policies outside of programs,
o Monitoring quality controls and promptly resolving reported alerts,
o Collaborating with Credit Control teams to allocate collections to premiums for programs and policies within the portfolio.
o Participating in appropriate governance for monitoring our processes and tools to contribute to their evolution,
o Engaging in transformation projects, including defining needs, testing, or providing support,
o Contributing to AXA XL's strategic changes, such as integration or Fusion programs,
o Ensuring the team is trained on all processes/tools and has the required technical expertise on products and country-specific aspects of their operations.
o Contributing to highlighting the service delivered and AXA XL's perceived superior service in the French market,
o Participating in tender responses,
o Ensuring each team member has direct contact with their broker counterparts, and potentially clients,
o Ensuring team members demonstrate an attentive, proactive approach to their own clients and produce appropriate reporting,
o Evolving our processes and governance based on feedback from brokers and clients
