The Fulfilment team in Grab is responsible for empowering our business verticals (GrabFood, GrabExpress, Transport, GrabMart) with the technology that makes it possible for them to provide real-time fulfilment offerings. It is our responsibility to build and maintain the real-time systems, and models so that our services balance both the needs of our customers but also ensure our driver-partner earnings.

The Fulfillment tech family is one of the pillars enabling Grab to out-serve our customers and partners in different businesses and marketplaces across Southeast Asia. We are working on high throughput, real-time distributed systems that use sophisticated machine learning techniques to solve hundreds of millions of requests per day. We are a distributed team in 4 different locations: Singapore, Beijing, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Our communication is in English, both in spoken and written form. Our mission is to offer the best-in-class products and experiences to our driver partners as to increase adoption and engagement of our services. Improve driver partner opportunities and efficiency in order to fulfill customer orders without fail, rain or shine. And to create efficient marketplaces by determining an optimal price that is both sustainable and loved by our partners and customers.
Get to know the Role
We are looking for a senior engineering manager to join the Fulfilment team to build products that empower our business verticals with the technology that makes it possible for them to provide real-time Fulfilment service offerings and understand the market responses to it in real-time. We believe a successful candidate has broad experience in engineering and people management, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because we want to build and maintain real-time systems, and models to serve our customers and partners. In return, you will get an opportunity to create an impact in Southeast Asia.
