The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Organize and create proposals, capabilities packages, qualifications statements, and presentations in creative support of the business development team
  • Develop collateral for internal communications, sales support, training, recruiting, tradeshows & company events (i.e. brochures, folders, sell sheets, flyers, photo albums, groundbreakings, jobsite photography, trailer materials, jobsite signage, etc.)
  • Coordination and execution of company trade shows from registration to post-show follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain company website, social media platforms and social media campaigns.
  • Partner with various external agency vendor(s) to execute job responsibilities (promos, press releases, photographers, website management, social media campaigns, etc).
  • Design and implement print and web campaigns and maintain mailing lists in Salesforce.
  • Design and execute monthly and quarterly mailers in support of Business Developers.
  • Conduct market research and make sound recommendations to Business Developers.
  • Provide administrative support to Business Development Managers, which may include travel arrangements, report generation, sales tracking, etc.
  • Support recruitment marketing for college and full-time needs.
  • Oversee and order corporate apparel, promotional items, and client gifts.
  • Plan and coordinate client trips, holiday/client gifts, and special events.
  • Write press releases for company awards, new hires and client events.
  • Work with local publications and press to promote company awareness as well as news on current and completed projects.
  • Promote community involvement through planning and hosting charity fund raisers, as well as providing marketing materials and design support to all sponsorships.
  • Various graphic design and written content requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team within the ARCO family of companies on campaigns and other projects as needed.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage/support two regional offices. 15-25% travel required. 

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or other related degree.
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience; Construction or related industry experience considered a major plus.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Graphic design experience necessary.
  • Experience with Wordpress, Salesforce, Pardot or similar marketing automation software.
  • Excellent written communication skills; strong verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must thrive in a self-directed and fast paced environment. Be proactive in anticipation of business needs.
  • Availability to work in-office full time.
