Senior Sales Representative (Orthopaedics and Medsurg) - Garden Route

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager

Promotes and sells the Medsurg and Orthopaedics portfolio products, services and /or solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and pricing. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline

About the Role

  • Have to sell on a daily basis
  • Call on Orthopaedic surgeons (via rooms, in theatre, hospital tearooms), Matrons, scrub sisters, pharmacy managers, CSSD sisters, stock controllers
  • Conduct regular workshops with Doctors, scrub sisters, CSSD sisters
  • Admin – weekly & monthly reports, stock take, quotes for repairs & product orders
  • Constant online and/or virtual trainings for development
  • Close collaborate with Medsurg team as well as other divisions incl. arthroplasty & trauma
  • Scrub for theatre cases – CRICE certified
  • Travel is 70-80% of the time
  • Reside in the territory

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Sales experience in the Device sales field with Diploma or Degree in related field
  • Higher Education preferable
  • Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations

Travel Percentage: Up to 75%
