Title: Senior QA Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hosted applications testing. As a Senior QA Engineer in our core development team, you will work closely with a very experienced team to extend and support our industry-leading indirect tax and reporting applications and work with the latest technologies.

About the Role:

  • Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint and regression testing.
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
  • Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers, business systems analyst and product manager) to identify testing requirements

About you:

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a quality assurance engineer – translate business requirements/user stories into test scenarios, develop test scripts including automation suites.
  • Established background in an Agile environment with a proven understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Candidate should work as SDET (Software Development Engineer in TEST)
  • Hands-on experience on In-sprint automation
  • Strong hands-on experience working in test automation with expertise in Test automation tools e.g., WebdriverIO, Selenium, TestNG, RestAssured
  • Experience in building and enhancing test automation for Angular, APIs, SOAP services and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience of automating webservices using Python
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries against Relational Databases e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity Version control systems (GIT) experience
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, OCI).
