Sr. Advisor, Technical Product Manager

Role Overview:

The technical product manager is responsible for guiding and optimizing the value delivered by the scrum team(s) assigned to them to make sure the execution of the solutions aligns with the customer requirements. Leverages technical knowledge to translate customer expectations into product terminology while making sure customer requirements are represented. Works well with other cross-functional teams to make sure execution of solutions is optimal by minimizing obstacles and continually communicating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Contributes and helps implement the product vision and roadmap.

Connects team with customer to validate solution during construction.

Manages and prioritizes team backlog.

Contributes to documentation for new features and releases.

Tracks metrics to ensure successful execution of features.

Organizes and helps deliver demonstrations of product features.

Skills and Competencies:

Self-motivated individual able to execute after initial guidance.

Passionate about helping find solutions to customer problems.

Strong meeting facilitation skills including virtual and physical interactions.

Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.

Demonstrated success in tracking and executing multiple parallel objectives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and collaboration tools.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a technical product manager or product owner.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience) required.

Product experience in cybersecurity field (e.g., EDR, NDR, SIEM).

Pragmatic Institute Certification, Agile, or other product related.
