Milkco is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic. This position provides on-site maintenance and repair for all aspects of the plant. This includes:
- Performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems. This includes packaging equipment, conveyors & production machinery.
- Ordering & installing new & replacement components as needed.
- Must have some electrical experience.
- Effective communication with management, including proactive suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Other general maintenance tasks as directed.
The ideal candidate has a background in general maintenance and repair, some electrical experience, and a can-do attitude. Since our equipment is so specialized, you will receive machine-specific training.
Please note: This position is normally 3rd Shift (9:00 pm to 5:30 am) Monday - Friday, but does require some weekend work.

Compensation Information:
- Automatic 60-Day Pay Review

Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Physical (provided by Milkco).
- Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
- Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 7 ½ hours per day.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
- Extended periods of overhead lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing and other related movements may be required.
Experience:
- Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have some electrical experience.
- Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
- Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
- Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere
