Your Impact

The Regional Director, Iberia is responsible for managing a team of sales, sales engineers, customer success and technical that sell the Axon product line of less lethal weapons and software solutions to public safety agencies and growing Axon's business as a whole in across Spain & Portugal. Ability to articulate complex solutions, build and maintain senior level relationships, navigate across complex multi-layered stakeholders / units, and lead the Axon team to success is required.

Reporting to: VP, Sales Europe

Direct reports: Responsibility of 8 staff

Location: Madrid (hybrid)

Travel expectations: 50%+ 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a team of sales professionals and grow revenue, market share and to maximisecustomer satisfaction and achieve Axon’s strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
  • Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions
  • Lead strategic meetings with senior officials to drive higher level relationships
  • Partner with local Government Affairs, Product Team and your sales team to win new markets
  • Work with and bring in experts/specialists where required
  • Oversee all account activities
  • Responsible for forecasting, keep management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gather intelligence on competitor activity, and give feedback to marketing
  • Track customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities
  • Own account relationship and drive overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of demonstrated successful customer facing Software or Technical Sales Experience
  • 15+ years of demonstrated leadership of sales teams
  • 10+ years’ experience managing a book of business of Major Accounts Solution or consultative sales experience
  • Able to travel 50%+ 
  • Data management experience using Salesforce (preferred) or similar CRM
  • Startup experience & some vertical experience
  • Able to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings
  • Team Player: collaborate with various team members regularly
  • Ready to drive the territory and your team
