DESCRIPTION

North America (NA) On Road Staffing (ORS) team is looking for a person to lead analysis and execution around Delivery Associate (DA) staffing requirements. As a Business Analyst ORS, this role requires deep diving overall program delivery, partnering with cross-functional teams to action specific drivers while maintaining or improving the DA hiring cost. The candidate will lead programs from the idea inception to implementation while managing multiple, competing projects, and effectively prioritizing them.

  • Travel needed will be around once every quarter.

Key job responsibilities

  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into actionable reports/dashboards
  • Translate data into actionable insights
  • Identify processes to automate and scale ad-hoc requests and analyses
  • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs
  • Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to analyze quantitatively and problem-solve efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
