The Professional Service Delivery Team is looking for a Senior Analytical Consultant to provide analytical and consulting services to current and prospective customers. Our team provides consulting and implementation service including requirements gathering, analysis, solution development, knowledge transfer and project closeout both off and on customer site. Our team develops statistical and analytical applications including SAS solution implementations for consulting sessions using knowledge of analytical methods and related SAS procedures and products, focusing on Risk, AML and Fraud, and Analytic.
As a Senior Analytical Consultant, you will:
- Provide statistical and/or analytical consulting services for customer engagements.
- Translate customer business needs into data requirements and analytical techniques.
- Conduct customer sessions for requirements gathering, data discovery, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in use of Base SAS software/SAS STAT/SAS OR procedures.
- Supports data acquisition, validation, cleaning/preparation, and management from incoming data sources to facilitate analysis.
- Assist in the estimation and development of the scopes for consulting projects.
- Provide coaching and knowledge transfer in relevant expertise
Required qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in analyzing data or Risk, AML, Fraud solutions.
- Master’s degree in in relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics.
- Ability to communicate with and persuade people with various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write and edit technical material, and relate statistical concepts and applications to statistical and non-statistical SAS users.
- Deep knowledge of SAS analytical offerings and putting code into production systems
- Experience defining and/or developing creative solutions to complex business challenges and opportunities in the Banking/ Insurance /Risk/Regulatory domain. This experience might be based on experience as a practitioner, consultant.
- Strong facilitation and communications skills.
- Experience with technical and business approaches and solutions related to business intelligence/analytics/data integration/data warehousing.
Preferred qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of at least three operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.) supported by SAS software.
- Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion
- Better with customer facing experience in consultant/solution company for FSI project.
