Business Line Manager – Americas 

Mission: 

As Business Line Manager for ISRA Surface Vision, as a part of Atlas Copco, you will have full Profit & Loss responsibility for your location. As Business Line Manager for the Machine Vision Solutions (MVS) Division’s Connected Continuous Processes (CCP) business line, you will be dedicated, able to lead a successful team by strong vision and the capability to achieve results above expectations. To lead the CCP Customer Center, we are looking for someone with the capability to further develop and grow this advanced and successful business. This position reports directly to the Vice President of our Global CCP Business Line.

What we expect of you?

The Business Line Manager – Americas, for our Connected Continous Process Business Line will:

  • Oversee all aspects of the CCP business line sales and business development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Develop and strengthen CCP market position, with respect to account coverage, key account personnel allocation, product positioning, and launches.
  • Develop, lead and manage the sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the organization for the CCP business line.
  • Lead creation and execution of strategies to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for assessing new customers and analyzing business opportunities.
  • Develop proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the local CCP organization which includes Sales, Service, Customer Relations, and Engineering/Project Management 
  • Ensure the best use of organization's resources by defining and planning the CCP strategic and long-range goals.
  • Sales channel development to include direct sales and distribution sales
  • Establish leadership, management style, and culture to maximize employee satisfaction.
  • Actively manage the P&L and balance sheet to optimize financial result and resiliency.
  • Ensuring daily departmental goals are met using an employee-centric philosophy to achieve established objectives in safety, service, quality, and cost. 
  • Increase management teams’ effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities. 
  • Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress.

Candidate Requirements

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing
  • More than five years’ supervisory experience, preferably in sales management
  • Experience in leading, managing and motivating an organization
  • Experience working within an international matrix-organization with proven ability to adapt easily to different cultures
  • Ability to deliver innovation and create new standards
