EF Educational Tours (ET) and Explore America (EA), divisions of EF Education First, are seeking a driven, collaborative, growth-oriented Senior Marketing Manager on the Marketing and Creative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving and optimizing the growth of our business, through the planning and delivery of integrated communications and marketing campaigns to acquire and retain customers. 

What you'll do 

In this role, you will develop the strategy and lead the execution of our Group Leader acquisition efforts, in partnership with the Director of our Media team, to contribute to the business’s aggressive growth goals. Details include: 

  • Collaborate with our performance management team, media team, web team and email team to understand past performance, analyze current campaign performance and ultimately recommend areas of optimization for the future.
  • Execute all Group Leader acquisition campaigns, end-to-end. This effort is inclusive of writing the creative brief, briefing in this fully integrated campaign (channels: digital, social, email, direct mail and more) to our Creative team, and managing stakeholder reviews.
  • In partnership with the core team, develop and lead the execution of continuous experimentation and optimization (across channels, audiences, messages, etc.) to ensure we’re learning and iterating for maximum impact.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Sales (sales optimization, sales onboarding & training, business development, regional sales directors) on lead response to ensure no lead goes untouched or uncontacted.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Finance & Strategy teams to develop the audience strategy and ongoing performance of our campaigns across key audience segments.
  • Develop a lead nurture strategy and experience to ensure we continue to nurture our leads and develop them into a customer sooner than later.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience working in marketing 
  • 3+ years of experience working in growth marketing, specifically
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems and related channels (including paid media, social media, customer relationship management disciplines, web, email and segmentation)
  • Experience driving conversion rate optimization
  • Broad understanding of business-to-business and direct-to-consumer sales, CRM systems, and sales pipeline management
  • Comfortable working in a test and learn environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with creative teams on creative development
  • Solution-oriented and systems-focused, always thinking about how to solve a problem
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and a proven ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Strong project management skills and unmatched attention to detail
  • Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines 
  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills, to include partnering across cross-functional teams 
  • Proficient in Wrike, SharePoint, BrandFolder, Confluence and/or similar project management software preferred

The overall ET/EA Marketing and Creative team is made up of 45 staff: writers, designers, video editors, producers, photographers, web content developers, email and marketing automation, lead-generators, and more. We make anything the business needs and create whatever we can dream up, all in-house. Customer-first and collaboration forward, the Marketing Strategy team leverages our deep understanding of the customer and the business to drive the strategies and solutions that get more students and teachers traveling.
