Data Engineer/Senior Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs, and translate them into scalable and efficient data engineering solutions using Azure Data Services. 
• Design and develop data pipelines, data integration strategies, and data storage solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure Data Services. 
• Implement data transformations, data cleansing, and data enrichment processes to ensure data quality and reliability. 
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. 
• Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to ensure seamless integration of data solutions into analytics and machine learning workflows. 
• Implement data security and privacy measures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to design and implement end-to-end data solutions. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure Data Services and recommend relevant technologies and tools to enhance data engineering capabilities. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability. 
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and other team members. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Strong expertise in cloud data engineering, with extensive experience working with Azure Data Services. 
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and other Azure Data Services. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala for data engineering and data manipulation.(Any one ) 
• Solid understanding of data integration, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. 
• Experience with data governance, data security, and data privacy practices in cloud environments. 
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and propose innovative solutions. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
• Relevant certifications in Azure Data Services or cloud data engineering are highly desirable
