Job Description

In this role, you would be will be

Developing and executing a growth plan in close partnership with the APAC and global businesses. You will be responsible to manage IGT-S business for Korea.

You will be responsible for

  • Formulating, and being the Modality Management competence owner, the future strategic directions on this Modality.
  • Determining the relevance of this Modality for Philips, assessing the value of new developments, and identifying new opportunities for Philips.
  • Oversees the global developments for his Modality that are relevant for the business and determines the implications for his Modality.
  • Keeps abreast of market, competition, technical, application and societal developments in his Modality, showing understanding of the Philips position and business interests.
  • Builds a worldwide external network and makes this knowledge applicable for the business, now and in the future. Responsible to drive local product launches in line with the global strategy and the overall market's business and marketing strategy.
  • Supporting sales teams with background knowledge, market insights, competitive insights, instruments, and tools to support them in maximizing business opportunities.
  • Lead Team consisting of modality specialist, clinical application specialist and clinical scientists by recruiting, training, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees.
  • Develop and maintain a close partnership with the service team to ensure high customer satisfaction, long term relationships, and profitability.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with Key Thought Leaders in the Market.
  • Represents Philips externally on related issues, and spearheads international platforms. Is consulted as a senior Modality specialist and asked for projects to investigate the feasibility of new businesses, applications concepts and models.
  • Supporting sales teams with background knowledge, market insights, competitive insights, instruments, and tools to support them in maximizing business opportunities.
  • Lead the IGT-S team consisting of modality specialists, clinical application specialists and clinical scientists by recruiting, training, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees.

To be successful in this role you need to have

  • Minimum University Level of education.
  • 10 years related experience in Modality Management.
  • Strong sales management with 10-15 years of experience.
  • Experience in change management as it relates to the culture and mindset of a complex organization including capabilities building, process design, ownership, and implementation.
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers, cross-business, and cross-function.
  • Customer focus and good problem-solving skills.
