Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Ecommerce Manager to lead our EMEA Amazon 1P vendor accounts and drive the success of our online retail presence across various platforms. This means that for your day-to-day you will mainly interact with our ecommerce team and our digital agency partners to ensure premium activation and execution on all active EMEA 1P vendor accounts.

A personal interest for lifestyle, sports, fashion, travel, outside activities, coffee, food and sustainable solutions is a plus. This role requires you to be truly consumer-oriented, sales-driven, growth-minded and to have a process-driven hands-on spirit. You should have a broad interest in the future of retail ecommerce and be willing to invest time to network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Amazon 1P Vendor Account Management:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of EMEA 1P Amazon vendor accounts. Develop and execute premium strategies for segmentation, advertisement, marketing, content optimization, and localization. Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth in the region.
  • Sales and Marketing:
  • Drive profitable sales growth through effective marketing strategies. Develop joint business plans, negotiate terms, and ensure favorable contract conditions for Stanley.
  • Implement and optimize advertising campaigns, ensuring efficient use of budgets, and achieving target ACOS.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content for product listings.
  • Product Launches:
  • Lead and coordinate net product launches on Amazon, ensuring maximum visibility and successful market penetration.
  • Inventory Management and Forecasting:
  • Develop and implement robust inventory management and forecasting strategies.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Demonstrate expertise in allowances, chargebacks, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to streamline processes and enhance overall operational excellence.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AMS, ARAP, PICS , NetPPM, ROOS, and others.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership based on data analysis.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years European Amazon 1P vendor account experience in consumer products (outdoor, sporting goods, housewares, apparel, general merchandise is preferred)
  • Proven success in delivering premium strategies and executing effective brand marketing campaigns on and off platform
  • In-depth knowledge of vendor central, allowances, chargebacks, and operational excellence and strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in AMS, ARAP, PICS, ACOS, NetPPM, ROOS, and other relevant Amazon metrics.
  • Superior verbal and written English communication skills, ideally native speaker for ability to write copy in English
  • Additional EU languages are a plus
  • Strong visual feel and eye for design to be able to select, adapt and manage relevant content
  • Ability to leverage virtual teams spread across the globe that functions under both local and global direction, can both take and give advice, manage, and be managed and is fully capable and equipped to operate at Amsterdam EMEA HQ as well as remote.
  • Exceptional time management skills: ability to organize, prioritize, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives. 
  • Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced, quick-turn business model with close attention to details and ability to influence and interact with peers and senior management. 
  • Open to work on broad and diverse scope of task and to support business where needed.
  • Microsoft Software: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; basics on Adobe CS is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably previous experience working directly at or with Amazon.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
