We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Talent, People and Culture Strategy and Experiences Lead to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is located in New York, NY and is HYBRID. 

Are you a talent culture champion? We’re seeking a candidate to elevate employee experiences and power our culture to strategically attract, engage, and retain top talent. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building organizational culture through campaigns, experiences, and activations. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Building and executing our culture brand strategy; championing our brand positioning and brand standards/guidelines consistently across all culture and talent communications and marketing. 
  • Help to shape the perception of the company as a top talent destination, evolving our brand identity, employer brand expression, and talent profile in the marketplace. 
  • Partnering with and educating internal stakeholders across the People Team (Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Early Career Program Management, HR LOB Business Leaders); Philanthropy, DEI; Site Leaders, our Employee Resource Groups as well as with the Office of the CEO to ensure our investment in our culture and talent programs is amplified internally and externally.
  • Working with leading agencies to develop multichannel recruitment marketing that communicates our authentic employee experience to attract and retain individuals who will thrive at BNY Mellon. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • A persuasive storyteller and creative and original thinker who can drive employee engagement and culture and grow awareness and consideration with early, mid and tenured talent audiences. 
  • 7+ years proven experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, content marketing, culture marketing or related roles.
  • Familiarity with and ability to identity appropriate digital, social and experience content creation and development. 
  • Strong data and landscape analysis skills to review talent and culture marketplace trends, formulate implications and inform strategy.
  • Experience in building recruitment media investment strategies across platforms and channels. 
  • Deep LinkedIn knowledge including earned and paid strategies as well understanding the LinkedIn product roadmap around culture (e.g. MyCompany).

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
