This role is part of the GTM (Go-To-Market) Systems team that is responsible for internal applications supported by IT across Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, Product and Engineering. The right candidate has empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn; has deep technical experience in all the capabilities and functionalities of the Kantata (Mavenlink) platform and a proven track record of driving best practices and processes, with hands-on experience in core development (configuration, automation, customization & integration patterns).
In this role you will...
- Design and build scalable techno-functional solutions primarily for Global Services (Professional Services team) working independently and in partnership with the US team.
- Develop solutions per Cornerstone’s standards and best practices and take feedback from the functional lead based in the US and continuously improve the quality of their work.
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, analyze, maintain and test new and existing Kantata functionality, managed apps and connected applications for project & task management, resource management, time and expense management, project billing, project accounting, reporting and insights.
- Participate in key phases of the software development lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and production support.
- Translate business requirements to solution design, develop design options & recommendations, review design and code, and manage issues and risks.
- Build functionality to improve performance, security, scalability, and reliability of Cornerstone’s Kantata platform.
- Design, build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Kantata for projects, between Kantata and Oracle Cloud ERP and other related apps for billing, revenue and financial analytics.
- Design and develop functionality ensuring best practices are followed for integration, application development, deployment, data integrity, and ongoing enhancements.
- Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement: identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to help improve operational efficiencies.
You have got what it takes if you have...
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years techno-functional experience in Kantata/Mavenlink.
- At least 5 years of experience in common Web technology such as Ruby on Rails and/or Python and/or JavaScript frameworks (React, AngularJS, Ember or Backbone.js), core Java, different open source frameworks, SOA based SOAP/Rest Web Services; exposure to web application development; deep understanding of web technologies, such as CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Ajax.
- Experience leading functional and technical requirements gathering and building solutions from those requirements; working at-scale by reusing components and code to push apps out fast.
- Participated in major project delivery or consulting, lending a deep understanding of project management and resource management tools and processes.
- Experience in designing and building integrations with Salesforce.com, Oracle Cloud ERP, Snowflake and other related apps from Kantata for projects/tasks, invoices, time entry, expenses, analytics, etc.
- Experience with agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments.
- Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
- Kantata/Mavenlink certifications are required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural, development and testing team, internal and external resources.
