As an Technology Consultant Networking , you are responsible for developing strategic procedures and upgrades, improving network infrastructures, and managing systems configuration.

You will work on complex projects with a technical level and focus to the business. Together with your project team you will create designs implement new solutions and execute migrations. You can work independent and on a project basis. Also, you are used to speaking to and convincing stakeholders on business level.

What you'll be doing

Location: Eindhoven, The Netherlands ( Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate and execute pilots, prototypes, or proof of concepts, provide validation on specific use-cases.
  • Support with the development of the product roadmap, bringing together (future) customer demand and market developments (lifecycle and innovations)
  • Experience in integrating tools and services for all areas of IT infrastructure, such as data, security, and networks.
  • Understands customer business value and able to translate business challenges and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proactively developing and maintaining relationships with customer and partner key stakeholders.
  • Identifying network architecture patterns, develop roadmap, guidelines, and solution Building blocks and communicating to relevant stakeholders, providing technical direction, and supporting implementation.
  • Create and develop use cases, end-to-end network solution architectures & designs. 
  • Communicate with Ops and Service team and customer stakeholders to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Investigate, prepare, and create technical solutions, demos, and presentation, with sales and present to customer including commercial and technical aspects.
  • Known Technology best practices in well architected solutions and Be a trusted advisor in the technical field with Customer and stakeholders.
  • Actively look for opportunities and share knowledge with Presales and improve the way working.
  • Understanding of business processes contributing to successful sales and implementation of technical solutions.

Skills Summary

What will make you a good fit for the role?

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Skilled, working experience and certification on Campus connectivity (senior) In depth knowledge of Cisco LAN / DC (ACI) , WLAN, Security is a must.
  • Knowledge of DeVNet, coding & automation and Infoblox is highly preferred.
  • Cisco CCIE certification is preferred.
  • Collaborate with Solution and Domain Architects and develop solution designs for specific or complex infra deployments, balancing specific requirements, overall architecture and the strategy to deploy standard products.
  • Develop and improve a scalable IT infrastructure that benefits the organization.
  • Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies that can support complex and heterogeneous customer demand.
  • Lead technical initiatives going in the organization that require understanding of technology, needs collaboration and coordination across the various Tech teams.
  • Introduce cost-effective best practices related to the needs of the business needs of the organization.
  • PoC/Pilot new products, validating their correct functioning and an efficient deployment.
  • Align with colleagues in Operations, ensuring they can deploy and manage the products efficiently.
  • Be aware of compliance requirements and work with Information Security/Audit teams on Risk filings and exceptions/waivers for the same.
  • Review and document key performance metrics and indicators to ensure high performance of IT service delivery systems.
  • Support root cause analysis in case of recurring or high impact issues and identify required improvements.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • BSc
  • CCIE preferred)

Required Experience:

  • + 8 years’ experience a a consultant / architect (
  • Highly proactive and committed.
  • Good verbal. (English and preferably Dutch)
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Motivated to integrate into an existing team and share the following values: Proactivity, Teamwork, Professional Excellence, Partnership and Personal Commitment.
  • Excellent client service orientation.
  • Uses good judgement in selecting tools and methods to solve problems.
  • Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, receives general instructions on new assignments.

For this role a driver’s license is obligated.
