The AI Platform organization at Microsoft builds the end-to-end Azure AI stack/PaaS and is core to Azure’s innovation and differentiation, as well as all of Microsoft’s flagship products, from Office to Teams, to Xbox. We are the team building Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and the global Azure AI infrastructure for running the largest AI workloads on the planet.

Within AI Platform, the Azure ML team enables data scientists and developers to quickly and easily build, train, deploy, manage, and consume machine learning models.

• Lead the strategic product vision and roadmap for Azure Machine Learning, with a focus on creating delightful and efficient experiences for developers and machine learning professionals
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, research, and marketing, to drive the successful development and launch of AI platform products
• Champion a user-obsessed mindset by actively gathering user feedback, validating ideas, and analyzing data to ensure that product investments align with customer needs and goals
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes in the AI and machine learning space
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and team members as needed
• Act as a subject matter expert on AI technology, leveraging hands-on experience to guide product development and decision-making

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 10 years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and launching complex products targeted at developers, machine learning professionals, or a similar audience
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and/or AI
• Familiarity with platform tools and a track record of building products for developer audiences
• Proven experience in delivering successful products that delight developer customers, end users, and drive positive business outcomes.
• A commitment to a user-centric mindset by actively gathering feedback, validating ideas and concepts, and analyzing data to ensure that investments align with customer needs and goals

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technology
