Position Purpose: 

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a talented team in the world of both software development and funds management. The company is dynamic and is looking for high achievers with excellent software development skills and an interest in financial markets as well as information technology. 

The company is looking for a Developer with experience in SQL Server / TSQL, React, TypeScript, C#, .Net Core 6+, Git and UI development experience to work closely with the CTO and Project Manager to manage Board approved projects. The organisation is framework agnostic however Blazor, MS DevOps and Rider IDE experience will be considered favourable. 

The successful candidate will be working in the Sydney office, reporting to the CTO. The role is a permanent position and will appeal to those who will be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-orientated environment. Flexible working arrangements are on offer. 

Key Responsibilities: 

General Role:

  • Work closely with CTO across the ongoing product Roadmap.
  • Keep line manager(s) updated on progress and advise them on all relevant issues.

Projects

  • Participate in ongoing project work as determined by the Project Manager / CTO. 

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: 

  • A passion for software development and strong interest in the Financial Services industry.
  • SQL Server / TSQL, React, TypeScript, C#, .Net Core 6+, Git and UI development experience.
  • 10+ years of qualified experience in software development.
  • Ability to solve complex issues and work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work without close supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications 

Blazor, MS DevOps and Rider IDE experience.
