Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD), launched in September 2022, is a bulk storage and distribution solution for FBA sellers with low cost storage, hands-off-the-wheel replenishment into FBA, and multi-channel distribution into their other retail channels. AWD simplifies end-to-end supply chain management for FBA sellers by eliminating friction and lowering the cognitive load by complex tradeoffs. Our vision is to become the preferred bulk storage and distribution service trusted by all small, medium and large businesses around the world for managing their global inventory across all their channels. AWD is also a key component of the recently announced Supply Chain by Amazon (SCA) which will allow everyone to leverage Amazon’s advanced logistics, supply chain, and transportation to move products from manufacturers to customers, while keeping products in stock, shipping faster, reliably and significantly lowering costs.
We are seeking a Product and Business leader for AWD who will lead a multi-functional Product, Program and Marketing team to deliver a bar raising Customer experience in warehousing and distribution while also driving the right business outcomes in the form of rapid adoption of the service. The leader will own the AWD roadmap and will deliver on the multi-year vision for the product portfolio. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the Customer experience raises the bar in the form of best in class SLAs, escalation management and customer support. The leader will also own the go to market of AWD and marquee features. This is a high-visibility role that owns the product vision and execution of Amazon’s latest entry into the supply chain space. The leader will work closely with and influence global partners in FBA, Global Mile, SCOT, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance and PR to understand and deliver the optimal outcomes for Amazon.
The ideal candidate for this role is entrepreneurial, strategic and loves using technology to solve business problems at scale. You should be comfortable being a thought leader, working with and leading cross-functional teams in solving highly complex initiatives from end to end. The successful leader in this role balances building with operating with influencing across the company. The leader is experienced in leading product teams to deeply understand customer problems and then innovate at scale. The leader is also able to work closely with technical leadership to ensure that investments yield foundational capabilities that accelerate the pace of innovation versus introducing debt. The incumbent will also have a strong general management orientation with the ability to deep dive a green-field business as come up with the right toolkits to deliver the required outcomes. This leader is experienced in building products for customers worldwide and partnering with teams to understand local customer needs and achieve scale of reach.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $237,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
