Overview

The Reporting & Analytics Operations Manager provides strategic leadership to the department staff. This role is responsible for defining and governing Reporting and Analytics processes, leading the portfolio definition / prioritization and funding decisions, managing the overall portfolio of projects, setting the communication, training, and change management plans and ensuring execution of the plans. Leads all operational activities of the department including strategy development and implementation; operating plans and budgets; value generation initiatives; policies, procedures, systems, and reporting. Builds and manages a high performance team to achieve department objectives. Embodies IOOGA (Integrity, Our People, Our Customers, Growth and Attitude).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach, mentor, empower, and develop a team of professionals to design, implement, manage, and improve SBS intake, governance, delivery processes, procedures, workflows, process training, change management, and communications
  • Provide end-to-end ownership for all governance processes
  • Coordinate the development and training of standards for SBS delivery processes
  • Coordinate and manage the process and standards for the development of an integrated SBS roadmap
  • Facilitate organized and productive governance and process sessions to support all levels of internal SBS leadership and SBS teammates respectively
  • Ensure governance meet defined metrics
  • Manage and report the project budget status and project spend for SBS leadership
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of a team of project/program managers, scrum master, and BSAs responsible for the coordination and successful implementation of analytics projects.
  • Provides strategic support for project/program managers as follows: (1) resolves systemic process gaps and issues, (2) identifies systemic tasks completion issues and develops solutions to resolve, (3) defines standards and implements appropriate quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance and (4) provides support for new product and systems launches, (5) acts as a technical resource to team members as needed.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements that will ensure the operational efficiency of the team and the success of the implementation of services.
  • Provides direction and feedback on employee goals and achievements. Conducts performance reviews.
  • Communicates clear job expectations, goals and development opportunities to employees.
  • Prepares employee development plans. Coaches, counsels and leads department employees.
  • Serves as an escalation point for interpersonal and operational employee challenges.
  • Monitors department projects to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality level. Monitors and adjusts employee workloads.
  • Gathers, tracks and reports department attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to upper management.
  • Ensures Company procedures are followed, including the tracking and publishing of metrics.
  • Works collaboratively across departments to identify and resolve risks, conflicts and challenges, recommends resolution and implementing process improvements.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies; brings forward solutions and serves as a Trusted Expert.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience leading medium and large complex projects and programs.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in people management and engaging senior leaders
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in/with advance analytics teams.
  • Possess leadership skills; capable of managing a collaborative project team of various professionals (project/program managers, BSA, Scrum masters, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Skilled in Process development and enhancement, Vendor Management, Financial Reporting, Change Management, Risk Management, Quality Management and Problem Diagnosis & Solution.
  • Ability to manage and steer issues to resolution
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills
  • Understanding of current organization processes and policies
  • Ability to hold stakeholders accountable and aligned to metrics

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is required. 

Professional certifications are a plus. 

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
