FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Seniors - Cobol Programmer Banking Technology in Little Rock, AR to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Provide application software development services or technical

support typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components and make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation and suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. Projects may be focused on development of new or upgraded products and services, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Provides leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.

SALARY AND WORK SCHEDULE: $82,200 per year and 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing Cobol programming to perform application development; supporting software development life cycle (SDLC); working with banking functionality including deposits; utilizing mainframe tools including VSAM, JCL, CICS, and Easytrieve to support tasks; utilizing debugging tools to resolve online and batch abends; and utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of applications for communicating, design documentation, requirements, and status reporting. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
