Glamour is looking for a Senior Analyst to support brand leadership and editorial teams in the US and Latin America through in-depth analyses and reporting to help achieve revenue and traffic goals. Reporting to the Global Senior Director of Audience Development, you will work across teams to develop and apply insights on deepening the brand’s relationship with our audiences. You will be responsible for helping teams use analytics to make insight-based business decisions while serving as the subject matter expert on our analytics platforms. This role will also support creating and executing newsletter strategy as well as pitching in on social, partnerships, or any other area when necessary.

The ideal candidate has a proven record of helping build and manage massive online audiences and is adept with the strategies and tactics that increase reader engagement. They must be digital savvy with a clear understanding of how all social platforms are constantly evolving (think vertical social video, algorithms etc.). And they should be a highly-organized self-starter who is curious, forward-thinking, and entrepreneurial. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with audience development and brand stakeholders in the Americas (US and LatAm) to develop and execute data-driven audience growth plans across all content distribution platforms, including social, email, and search. 
  • Assist with analysis and strategy on other Glamour markets as and when needed. 
  • Assess social performance and provide guidance on how to react quickly to algorithmic changes; support the social media manager and pitch in for big coverage moments (think Glamour WOTY, awards season, Met Gala, etc.) when needed.
  • Internalize the site’s analytics and identify and interpret patterns in user behavior. Identify new growth opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence, and consumer insights.
  • Work closely with digital leadership to determine and meet growth KPIs and ensure they align with revenue strategy. 
  • Partner closely with Digital Editorial to help them understand audiences across all distribution sources, including Social, Newsletter, and Search. Create and maintain a reporting system to deliver daily, weekly and monthly insights on editorial performance, content analytics, and traffic trends to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and automate existing weekly and monthly content reports. Educate brand teams to retrieve and interpret recurring reports, build dashboards, and perform simple analyses. 
  • Create and execute newsletter strategy (including building newsletter and reporting on performance).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • 3-4 years of experience in digital analytics at a media company or digital advertising agency with a thorough understanding of online business models and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience with major analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Parsely, etc.
  • Very strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • SQL/Python knowledge is a must. Snowplow experience is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative, and experimental approach to problem-solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and present data and insights to a wide variety of audiences.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $80,000.00-$94,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
