We have a unique opportunity for a Global downstream product manager to join Mobile Surgery in the highly successful Image Guided Therapy Systems business focusing on the orthopedics, spine, pain management and vascular domains.

You are responsible for

As Global downstream product manager, you have a key role in helping us shape and execute our global downstream marketing activities and enabling successful introduction of our winning propositions in the Mobile Surgery market, enabling our customers to deliver the best possible patient care at optimal economical value while performing a wide range of minimal invasive procedures and surgeries. In this role you will

  • Enable training and upskilling of regional sales teams and channel partners focused on building both clinical knowledge and product expertise
  • Develop and execute customer engagement strategies to help build impactful relationships, partnerships and collaborations with key opinion leaders and key customers to help drive adoption of our offerings in the field
  • Support sales teams and channel partners on answering customer queries, tender queries and supporting sales pitches.
  • Enable upstream product teams on gathering feedback by working in close alignment with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in development of new functionality. Define and guard the user requirements for the products and solutions and provide ongoing and actionable feedback to continuously improve our offering.
  • Monitor products in the field and gather evidence on the performance of our products and its intended use.
  • Represent Philips at tradeshows and during customer visits.

You are a part of

The Image Guided Therapy (IGT) - Mobile Surgery organization which is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of X-ray based image guidance solutions in orthopedics, pain management and cardiovascular, and other medical diagnosis and intervention.

You will be part of the Marketing team of the Mobile Surgery business within business unit IGT-S. IGT-S is the global market leader and in the heart of Philips Healthcare. This position is based in Pune, India and you will report to the Downstream Marketing Director, IGT Mobile Surgery.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, medicine or medical imaging
  • 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant clinical work experience in orthopedics/spine/pain management/surgery domain.
  • Experience in similar role in the healthcare industry is preferred; orthopedics devices experience strongly preferred especially customer facing roles
  • Analytical bent of mind with focus on structuring and problem solving
  • Hands on person with ability to think creatively and pragmatically.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers and local sales & application teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Affinity to work in a global environment & willingness to travel
  • Solid spoken and written English skills.
