Cloud Operations Engineer for Microsoft Azure

New Atos will double down on its established leadership in digital workplace, mission critical services including Mainframe and hybrid/multi cloud services to support customers in their digital transformation. Digital Business Platforms, as a new Business Line, will play a key role in our commitments to do things differently.

What are we looking for?

As a cloud systems developer you will apply your knowledge of software development to design and deliver advanced, market leading cloud managed services for Azure solution. 

Main responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback.
• Designing and implementing solutions that run on Microsoft Azure, including aspects like computing, network, storage, and security.
• Working closely with the Infrastructure Architects and Development teams in the design, engineering, and planning of the hosted Cloud infrastructure
• Increase operational efficiency through scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other automation technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps concepts and principles (CI/CD).
• Experience with Azure CLI/ Bash scripting and Power Shell is a plus.
• DevOps organization administration knowledge and experience are required.
• Willingness to create a proof of concepts, present, develop, test, operationalize, and support solutions that automate tasks.
• Proven experience in working on Enterprise projects with Terraform is desirable.
• Microsoft Azure Certification it’s a plus.
• Azure Bicep knowledge constitutes an advantage.
• Analytical, conceptual, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize actions, identify possible improvements, and adapt to a changing environment.

Technical Minimum:

• 5+ years relevant work experience in development, architecture, and/or technical consulting, Managed services for Cloud.
• Knowledge of the current Cloud industry and technical trends therein. 
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert a must - with the ability to map relevant IT technology solutions to New Atos customers’ IT and business needs and priorities.
• Understands and can effectively communicate the value provided by New Atos and partner products or services represented. Able to talk about the technology and the interrelationship between the products and services.
• Deep understanding of our competitive landscape and Microsoft portfolio 
• Ability to build solutions leveraging modern cloud services. 
• 3+ year experience with Azure solutions
