Job Description:

As a Cyber Operations Engineer, you are a key stakeholder in Conduent’s CISO organization. The role is to support IT and business operations through the development and management of services and programs to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Conduent systems and information, including those we manage on behalf of our clients. This role is specifically looking for experience in the Microsoft 365 Defender space.

• Recommend and oversee investment related to implementing and sustaining security controls and activities supporting the CISO portfolio of services.
• Supports the secure architecture, delivery and design of IT solutions and services.
• Enforces a defense-in-depth methodology in support of the overall enterprise cyber security risk posture.
• Monitors external regulatory requirements and supports compliance and certification activities.
• Engages in supporting InfoSec components of external audit activities.
• Defines required security controls and processes and enforces through the execution of policy documentation, standards, education, and awareness, and conducting risk assessments.
• Ensures effectiveness of boundary and perimeter controls
• Manages IT security incidents and investigations.

Qualifications for consideration:

• At least three-year’s experience in cyber security operations including use of a SIEM; QRadar is preferrable but not required.
• At least two years’ experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tooling & an extended detection and response (XDR) solution.
• At least one year experience in Microsoft 365 Defender for threat intelligence, incident response, and monitoring alerts and events.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum: bachelor’s degree in related field; or IT Security Cert (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA)
• Microsoft SC-200
